Gothic Sasquatch began as a music project focused on atmosphere, narrative, and emotional precision. Through sound, I learned to work with tension, pacing, restraint, and mood as primary tools of expression.
For years, I composed and produced music built from synth textures, layered vocals, and cinematic structure. Those works established my approach to storytelling and my sensitivity to tone, silence, and emotional weight. I have not stepped away from that practice.
Music remains an active part of my creative life.
What has changed is the scope of my work. The same principles that guide my compositions now guide my painting. Atmosphere, structure, and emotional clarity move between mediums without hierarchy.
The practices inform one another.
Music shapes the internal rhythm of my visual work. Painting offers stillness and physical presence to ideas that first emerged in sound. Together, they form a single creative language expressed through different materials.
I continue to write, produce, and release music under the name Gothic Sasquatch. The selected works below represent pieces that remain central to that practice and reflect the same seriousness, intention, and restraint present in my visual work.
