🎧 ANNOUNCEMENT – New music scores September 26th and October 3rd
Emerging from Denver’s creative underbrush in late 2022, Gothic Sasquatch is the musical alter ego of Nashville-based composer and producer Brandon Wallis. A former tubist whose path has carried him from classical brass ensembles to jazz busking and New Orleans raves, Brandon channels a restless curiosity reminiscent of Bowie...art rooted in transformation and defiance. His backstory, anchored in classical training, global military service, and a college radio residency at 91.1 WMSV, lends his music a depth and perspective that few artists can claim.
As Gothic Sasquatch, Brandon blends darkwave, experimental bass, and ambient textures into immersive soundscapes where drums, brass, strings, and lo-fi vocals collide. His work lives in the tension between dream and collapse: fragile, hypnotic, and burning with truth. Drawing from cinematic electronica, industrial-tinged trip-hop, and post-rock atmospheres, his songs unfold like shadowed stories of memory, desire, and identity. Each release feels like a vignette—Nightfall (2024) explores nocturnal depths; singles like Imperfect and Beautiful and Into the Light (2025) shimmer with introspection; newer tracks such as The Flames Dance High pulse with cathartic energy.
Whether pulling listeners onto the dance floor or into haunted quiet, his music lingers...unsettling, emotional, unforgettable.
Already amassing a catalog of over thirty tracks with a growing global audience, Gothic Sasquatch stands poised for greater resonance. Brandon’s inspirations form a constellation of avant-garde creators: David Lynch, Tim Burton, Portishead, Massive Attack, Radiohead, Molchat Doma, Depeche Mode, Trent Reznor, Max Richter, Erik Satie, and of course Bowie. Like them, he fuses cinematic mood with genre-blurring textures to craft a style that is distinctly his own. His ambition is simple yet profound: to move at least one soul as deeply as others have moved him.
